Saturday looking good...

Nov 29, 2018 by MackOS

Both Windytv and the NWS are calling for 20 knots+ for Saturday at SP. Lots of potential rain, but I plan on being wet anyway. I hope to be at the beach by 9am JIC it all blows through early.

Ok, now I know where you're talking about. Hopefully it will switch around while I'm driving down.

Cobia is Bald Point- that is completely different- no one with any sense sails there except kiters. We will be at AP out past the wash out with all the rocks about a mile. There is a park and launch with big White rocks. If you hit the marina you went too far.

I only sail at Cobia on slight NW, N and NE direction. If it's from SE, S, SW I'm at AP, usually the last public parking. Though the BEST waves (whatever Fred!) are at the middle public parking, across from the poles.

I'm out of town this weekend and wont be there. But I may try Huguenot tomorrow in Jax.

I always like to sail with others, so I guess I'll go to AP to try and meet up with you (Fred) and Alex if he's there. Will you guys be at Cobia Street? That's where I've met up with Alex before.
